You know what I love about apples? Their fresh, crisp skins. So that is the first thing I got for my new
Apple laptop. Bit confusing? Well, I think that real apple' skins are just like skins for laptops. A laptop skin protects my Apple from superficial damage just as the apple skin does for the fruit. Anyway, I found a cool Apple skin site and bought one Cellfan Apple PowerBook Skin.
Cellfan's laptop skin is just like a sticker which you stick on top of your Powerbook. What's really cool is that it even has an Apple cut-out. I find this very innovative in its simplicity because some skins sold in the market today covers the logo. I mean, that's one of the reasons for buying an Apple Powerbook, right? To show off the logo? It's really neat because the sticker peels off easily for the board and the cut-out peels of automatically. No cutting around it gingerly or pulling.
There's a lot of designs available, but I really dig the fantasy collection. Cheesy as I might sound, I like the
digital photo art appeal of the golden, fiery fairy. Another plus point for Cellfan, because the skins are incredibly glossy and the artworks provide great visual effects. I know I'm spouting cliche here but the artworks on these skins look as if they're real. The sticker doesn't peel off unless, of course, you peel it off. But otherwise, it stays in place. There's no need to be afraid of peeling it off because it leaves no residue. The peeled skin stays sticky so it's best to stick on its board and keep it because it is guaranteed to be reusable. I think it ought to be reusable because otherwise, its $25 price is not justifiable even if the product is great.
