Shuffle Eulogy

The death of a stupid and useless government leader with a pestering mole on his face is easier to accept than the demise of my Shuffle. Shuffle and I lived together for five months in the same roof. But no sex okay not unless I want to get my organs electrocuted! She played wonderful music for me everytime I caressed her thermo-plastic body, that's all she does anyway. Shuffle is fair-skinned, but she's so slim, and I shudder to think that she's bulimic that's why she died.

It all started one night when she refused to sing me songs anymore. I pressed her buttons gently, thinking that she's just jealous because I was playing old tricks with my DVDs a lot lately than spending time with her. Then there came those terrible flashes of orange and green lights coming from her screen. I shook and pressed her again and again, but she just lay in my arms unconscious. Desperation flooded my veins, and I screamed, and I cursed, and I asked why the guy up there took her life so quickly. Kill the criminals, hackers, and cruel senators, but not Shuffle! Apple Computer Inc replaces any damage hardware within one year warranty, so though it's difficult for me to let go, I have to set her free.
