Why don't you think right now. Think of those Israeli and Lebanese in the middle of bomb attacks and the world is playing one song. Let's say, " Heal The World". Would they still go on with their nonsense fight? How dramatic! What about "Mr. PIG"? I'm sure they would enjoy killing people more. What do you think? My only point is music affects our soul. I just hope these killers would stop the blood shed.

According to a report in Europe's DigitalBulletin, softdrink maker Coca-Cola is talking with Apple Computer to use iTunes download music service to promote its new no-calorie cola, Coke Zero. The Coca-Cola will offer its customers in the UK discounts on Apple's iTunes Music Store. This was after Coca-Cola's own music service which was launched in 2004, Mycokemusic.com , is said to close down. Precipitated by the entry into the scene by Apple's European Union iTunes Music Store.
In addition to the discounts, Coca-Cola will also be sponsoring digital content which are downloadable through iTunes. The move was aimed to maintain the edge of the softdrink brand in the UK market. In the past, Apple teamed up with Pepsi with the same marketing moves. And we all know that Pepsi is Coca-Cola's rival not only in Europe but also elsewhere.
I can only hope that music fans can have a lot of options in terms of music genres now with Coca-Cola on iTunes and at the same time they can get discounts from their downloads. I also see nothing wrong with the whole scheme. It just a proof to the saying that "If you can't beat them, join them."

How would you like to see the latest Hollywood movies on your iPod? Sounds exciting, don't you think. According to a report by Daily Variety, a famous Hollywood trade magazine, Apple computer is currently doing the negotiations with the biggest Hollywood outfits to offer movie downloads via the very popular iTunes Music Store. Furthermore, the report also said that iTunes will soon be rounding up its offering to add Hollywood movie releases by the end of this year.
Under discussion right now are the prices of the latest offerings. Allegedly, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple wanted a price of $9.99 per download of feature-length films, but studio execs wanted a price doubly higher than Jobs' proposal. What's more there are new releases that need to be charged higher. Can Jobs work his magic now the way he did with the bigwigs of the music industry? At this moment, we can only hope.
As we can see it, the logical step next to music, videos and TV shows are movies. What better place for Hollywood movies to gain total exposure than on iTunes and on the iPod. Hollywood is preparing for it in a subtle way, but consumers are already anticipating.

Two of the hottest television shows today, the reality series “Survivor” and the forensic series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” can now be downloaded via the iTunes Music Store. Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), under an agreement with Apple, have made it possible for fans of the two hit prime time TV shows to get the load on the latest as well as back episodes which they might have missed on TV. Now, that is the entertainment I am talking about!
Along with the two shows available for download is the action drama “NCIS.” Each downloaded episode will cost $1.99. The episodes made available for download were taken from the 2005/2006 season. Other series will include back episodes. iTunes Music Store will also offer new season episode which will start this September. With CBS now on the list, alongside Fox, ABC, and NBC, iTunes has never been this complete. Apple's records show that the company has sold 30 million videos on iTunes to date.

According to official records, Apple iPod sales and contents from iTunes up the total sales of Apple by 38% from last year. In addition, last quarter sales composed the 50% of last quarter sales and since October of 2001, Apple Corporation has sold over 50 million iPods. And with the ever-growing demand for MP3 music and MP3 players worldwide, Apple is now determined to lead the competition. With its plan to sell songs of British band sensation "The Beatles," Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple and Pixar Animation, is hard-nosed about getting the rights to sell its songs in the iTunes Music Store. The first step could be the decision of a UK court saying that Apple has not infringed on any trademark right held by Beatles' Apple Corps, its music label.
So far, there is no music service that has bought the right to sell Beatles songs for download. According to NDP Group Incorporated based in New York, the British band ranks among the roster of artists whose songs are very often illegally downloaded from the Internet. With the popularity of Beatles' hits like "Let It Be" and "Yesterday" and others what better place to download them legally but from iTunes.

Have you heard the biz about Apple iTunes lately? If you enjoyed listening to your favorite MP3 songs in your iPod and indulged in purchasing MP3's and videos from the iTunes Music Store, who says you can't delight in watching your favorite TV series on your iPod or your Mac PC? Now Apple has made that extremely possible. iTunes is now offering for sale Fox TV programs such as "24," "Prison Break," " Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and a lot more. The shows are priced $1.99 for each episode from Fox Entertainment library. Unfortunately, they're not offering American Idol just yet, but with the numbers (read: millions of voters) that tune in to the reality show every week, who knows, right?
Anyway, although Apple is not making much from these offerings, as its major revenue are sourced from Apple hardware, the latest addition of Fox Television shows are meant to increase the products offered in iTunes Music Store. The company is making only 11% from the purchases made on iTunes. Fox is the fourth network that offers TV shows for sale at the iTunes store along with NBC, CBS and ABC. Since the iTunes Music Store started its service in October, Apple sold over 25 million music videos and television shows.

Everyone is familiar with the "Apple" logo. Who would have thought that a mobile phone can play the Apple iTunes even if that mobile cellular phone does not have the Apple logo. Well, there is actually one such mobile phone that can engage in the scenario that was just described. The mobile cellular phone that I am talking about is the Motorola E790.
The said mobile cellular phone model is believed to be the 1st ever mobile phone that can play iTunes. Isn't it great? I, myself, am a fan of Motorola. Also, I feel very comfortable with iTunes. The user does not have to enter into the main menu and play the iTunes that he or she has downloaded from the mobile cellular phone.
